Jenkinson yesterday
Not only was he awful he looked to me to be unacceptably unfit, has he been on a beano with his mates?

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Lay off him because he was far from our worst player yesterday. Oxford was.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
He was playing for the u-21s recently,so he can't be unfit surely.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Lay off him because he wasn't as bad as a 16yr old playing his second match and out of position?

Very odd did thing to say

"Out of position" That old chestnut?

Actually, he was out of position. His position should be in the U17s.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Didn't look match fit and unwilling or unable to get forward as he normally does.
Obviously missed last week and not sure he played a preseason game in his position.
Bad day at the office but hopefully will be back to his best asap.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
I agree with Norwich, he looked well out of condition. It was very rare for him to go outside the full back yesterday and I haven't seen the stats but I reckon less than 15% of our attacking play came down our right side.

What options do we have until his fitness returns?

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Banjo, we beat Arsenal with Tomoins at right back so we can beat Bournemouth with him there too!

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
I just thought it was very unlike him, watched in amazement at him just meandering back into position when normally he is back in a flash.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
No where near fit enough, surprised it wasn't picked up at the training ground. Either that or he was unwell.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Will be better for the run and should play against Bournemouth.
Thought REID was lethargic and didn't contribute at all in showing urgency bringing the ball out. TOMKINS may come under consideration for his spot. More of a threat at set pieces as well.

Cresswell was shit as well.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
I rate Reid but he's noTony Adams, that's for sure. He needs to roll his sleeves up a bit more and realise that it's a war out there and not an afternoon kick about with mates.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Reid and Ogbonna are our best centre back combination. First half yesterday they had no cover in front of them from the marauding Leicester attackers, who were very sharp. Second half much better but our attacks were pedestrian in comparison with those of Leicester.

i love cresswell but he was the poorest player for us yesterday. he couldn't live with mahrez

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Not much good defending for the goals yesterday, crosses coming in too easily for both goals. Very disappointing after last weeks heroics.

Did the players disrespect the opponents by taking them too lightly?

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
DoD, if you look at the recent Premiership form of Arsenal, Leicester and U.S. You will realise that of our two games to date the "freak" result was our win at Arsenal and not yesterday's defeat.

I meant us.

Re: Jenkinson yesterday
Cresswell is poor defensively, needs to work on that. Julian should have an impact there soon. Jenkinson was poor at both ends of the field, his pace usually helps him but vardy was quicker and sharper.

Honest Hammer 11:17 Sun Aug 16
Re: Jenkinson yesterday
He's had about 120 minutes of pre-season you fuckwit of course he's unfit.

Cresswell was roasted all day and nobody is moaning about him?
